HealthDR Congo's M23 rebels impose new Ebola movement restrictions

The AFC/M23 rebel alliance in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has imposed new movement limits in areas it controls after Ebola cases were linked to travel from government-held territory. Shared taxis between Goma and Kirumba will be suspended for a month, while passenger pirogues will be barred from some Lake Edward routes. Buses and trucks may continue under health and safety controls. The country has reported 5,021 confirmed cases and 2,378 deaths.
