EconomyUkraine has only 72% of minimum gas volume required for winter by end of summer
Ukraine had about 9.6 bcm of gas in underground storage by the end of August, or 72% of the minimum 13.2 bcm considered necessary for winter. At the current pace, storage could reach no more than 12.1 bcm by November 1, below the planned 14.6 bcm reserve. The country is relying on domestic production after largely halting European imports because of high prices.
