WorldEnvoy says Israel gave US no warning before Syria base strikes
Tom Barrack, the US ambassador to Turkey and special envoy to Syria, accused Israel of providing no warning before striking the Abu Duhur military base in northern Syria, calling the attack an “unnecessary escalation” that may have been intended to bait Turkey. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz denied the claim, saying intelligence had been shared with authorised US parties beforehand.
