WorldTrump seeks to block BBC subpoenas for Ivanka Trump and Trump Jr

US President Donald Trump is asking a federal court to reject the BBC’s request to subpoena Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr and Jared Kushner in a $10bn defamation lawsuit over a Panorama documentary. Trump’s lawyers call the effort politically charged and beyond the case’s scope, while the BBC says the testimony could help establish what happened around January 6.
