A man from Nagoya left his seven-year-old son alone near the sixth station of Mount Fuji’s Fujinomiya trail after the boy said he was too tired to continue. The father left snacks and a soft drink, then climbed on with his older son. Police took the boy into protective custody and reprimanded the father after reuniting them.
