Ukraine has sanctioned the producers and distributors of the popular Russian children’s cartoon “Masha and the Bear,” creating a legal basis to block and restrict its monetization in the country. Culture Minister Tetyana Berezhna called it Russian propaganda, while Moscow said the move showed Kyiv’s “ugly nature.”
