The UK, Australia and Canada called Israel’s decision not to launch a criminal investigation into the April 2024 strike on a World Central Kitchen convoy in Gaza “shameful”. Seven humanitarian workers were killed. Israel’s military said troops had mistaken people in the vehicles for armed Hamas operatives and concluded that commanders’ decisions did not create reasonable suspicion of criminal misconduct.
