EconomyUS service sector drives acceleration in business activity, S&P Global says

U.S. services recorded their strongest growth in nearly two years, driving a sharp acceleration in overall business activity in August. That expansion offset slower manufacturing growth, which was constrained by reduced inventory building and supply disruptions from the U.S.-led war with Iran, S&P Global said.
