TechTesla sunsets its Solar Roof tiles

Tesla has reportedly stopped taking orders for Solar Roof, its roof tiles designed to function as solar panels, and will supply installers only with conventional panels. The company has not formally announced the move, but its website now redirects the Solar Roof page and removes the product from its Energy menu. Electrek says Tesla considers the product financially unviable.
