TechFramework says it is addressing a BIOS update that bricked some older laptops

Some Framework Laptop 13 owners with Ryzen 7040-series boards said BIOS version 3.20 left their machines unable to boot on Windows and Linux. Framework says confirmed affected boards, including those out of warranty in eligible cases, will be replaced, while a future “Crisis Recovery Mode” is being developed.
