NewNew Shipping Line plans to raise cargo volumes on the Northern Sea Route to 1.2 million tons by 2027. CEO Ke Jin said six new container ships would be progressively deployed by the end of October. On August 19, the first container ship from China reached Murmansk via the route, carrying automotive components.
