WorldSyrian official says there are ‘no plans’ for Turkish military presence

Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani says Syria does not plan to establish a Turkish military presence at Abu al-Duhur airbase, which Israel attacked earlier this week. He says Turkish officials had visited for training and military cooperation, but denies any build-up. Israel says it warned Syria against allowing Turkish forces, while Ankara rejects the allegations.
