WorldNorth Korea fires about 10 missiles a day after Trump curtails South Korea drills

North Korea fired about 10 short-range ballistic missiles toward its eastern waters on Thursday, South Korea’s military said. The launches followed the US and South Korea’s decision to scale back their 11-day Ulchi Freedom Shield exercises. Kim Yo-jong rejected the overture as insufficient but said relations between Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump remained excellent.
