Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada member Anna Skorokhod says the suspension of seaport operations has put 61 million tons of grain at risk of being sold abroad. About 90% of grain had been exported by sea, while land corridors and European transit routes could handle no more than 24 million tons, hurting foreign-currency earnings, tax revenue and the economy.
