WorldIsrael will not tolerate Turkey’s military presence in Syria, Netanyahu says

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would not tolerate a Turkish military buildup in Syria that threatens Israel. He said earlier warnings had apparently not been heard clearly enough, prompting Israel to make its message better understood. Netanyahu’s office said Syria was nearing a breach of the security status quo with Israel by allowing Turkish troops at a northern airbase. Syrian television reported Israeli air strikes on a military airfield in Idlib Governorate, causing material damage.
