TechChinese carmaker Chery to set up UK research centre

Chery will open an R&D facility at a vehicle-testing centre in Bedfordshire in late autumn. The company says it is part of its long-term UK expansion, as it moves toward local manufacturing and plans to develop vehicles for British roads, with future work on self-driving cars and AI.
