TechOpenAI to lease massive US AI data center backed by Nvidia
OpenAI will lease an Ohio AI data center for 20 years under a $105 billion financing commitment from Nvidia. The facility could eventually reach 8 gigawatts, run exclusively on Nvidia chips and receive more than $4 billion in energy-infrastructure investment from SoftBank and SB Energy. OpenAI says it will create 35,000 temporary and 2,500 long-term jobs.
