World‘Tons’ of nuclear materials found at undisclosed Syrian site, IAEA chief says
IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said Tuesday that the agency found several tons of nuclear material at a previously undeclared Syrian site dating to the rule of the country’s former authorities. Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani said the material was not dangerous and that Damascus could retain and use it for peaceful purposes.
