Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari said Doha hopes Oman and Iran can reach an agreement on the Strait of Hormuz, allowing U.S.-Iran talks to resume. He said efforts are focused on easing tensions and restarting implementation of the memorandum, requiring a ceasefire, an open strait, freedom of navigation and a return to negotiations.
