TechRussia designs new engine for small aircraft — Rostec
Rostec says its United Engine Corporation has completed design documentation and approved a prototype of the VK-1600S turboprop engine for small passenger aircraft, including the TVS-2DTS, An-2 and An-3. The 1,450-horsepower engine will use a FADEC-type control system and is expected to enter demonstrator testing soon.
