WorldSnipers of Russian 201st Base conduct drills in Tajikistani mountains
Snipers from Russia’s 201st Guards Military Base in Tajikistan held a live-fire exercise at the Lyaur mountain range. After drones detected simulated enemy forces, sniper pairs established observation and firing positions and engaged targets from 300 to 1,000 meters with several rifle types. The drill reflected experience from Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine and the challenges of mountainous terrain.
