Hongguo Short Drama has introduced rules urging creators to design more distinctive AI-generated characters and avoid highly similar faces across or within shows. It will target repeatedly reused AI faces, homogenized content and improper use of materials. Douyin’s Short Drama Creator Center has separately launched a pre-screening tool for likeness-rights and copyright risks.
