Norway’s royal household says 89-year-old King Harald V has been hospitalized for fluid retention and will take two weeks of sick leave. He has recently been treated with cortisone for the rare blood disorder haemolytic anaemia. Crown Prince Haakon will serve as regent and carry out the king’s duties.
