French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu was booed by residents during a visit to wildfire-hit south-western France, where 183 homes burned. He announced €12m in aid for Gironde and Landes. Fires also continued in Belgium, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Croatia, causing deaths, evacuations and international firefighting support.
