The office of Russian children’s rights ombudswoman Maria Lvova-Belova says it helped a 14-year-old girl return to Russia from Ukraine and reunite with her mother. The mother and daughter had remained in regular contact, while the International Committee of the Red Cross helped coordinate the lengthy process.
