SportsRights group urges FIFA to block Infantino re-election bid over term limits

Human rights group FairSquare has asked FIFA to rule that Gianni Infantino cannot seek another presidential term, arguing he has already served the three-term maximum set by FIFA statutes. Infantino previously argued that his initial 2016 mandate should not count because it completed an interrupted term, a reading FairSquare says breaches the rules.
