China’s coffee retail market exceeds 200 billion yuan annually and is growing about 20% a year, Asian Coffee Association President Zhang Hong said at the Hainan International Coffee Expo in Haikou. He said Hainan’s free-trade policies could create a new route for global suppliers, with eligible businesses able to import green coffee beans without tariffs and certain taxes.
