Torrential rain in South Korea’s Gyeongsang province triggered a landslide that buried the first floor of an apartment building in Geoje. Rescuers pulled out three people; one later died and two were injured. Geoje recorded 124.5mm in one hour, its highest since records began in 1972, and more than 400mm overnight.
