Switzerland will provide 600,000 Swiss francs, or about $730,000, through UNESCO to preserve and restore the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra after it was damaged in a Russian attack in June. Ukraine’s Security Service said a Russian Shahed-type drone struck the Dormition Cathedral and caused a fire, but firefighters prevented major structural damage.
