WorldJared Kushner meets Hamas ahead of talks with Netanyahu on Gaza

Trump envoy Jared Kushner held a rare meeting in Egypt with Hamas political chief Khalil al-Hayya in an effort to revive stalled Gaza ceasefire talks. He is due to meet Benjamin Netanyahu after the Israeli prime minister rejected a US-backed 15-point road map. Hamas urged mediators and the Board of Peace to compel Israel to approve the plan, and demanded an end to attacks and an Israeli withdrawal to the so-called yellow line before implementation.
