Fraudsters use AI to analyse travel photos posted on Instagram or Facebook, inferring locations from clues such as architecture, signs and light. They then send credible-looking messages claiming a card or account problem to steal bank details. McAfee found models could accurately locate many images and advises delaying posts and avoiding links in unsolicited messages.
