SportsHow blind football is helping women overcome barriers in Mexico

Mexico is preparing to send its first women’s blind football team to an international tournament. Chilangas FC players train with eye masks, following the sound of a metal-filled ball and teammates’ calls, and hope their participation will encourage more women with disabilities to play. Founded in 2020, the club still lacks a dedicated pitch, institutional funding and paid staff.
