Visa-free entry, a tropical climate and comparatively affordable healthcare are attracting more international visitors to Hainan. From January to July, the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone received over 8,600 overseas medical tourists, 5.4 times last year’s figure. The province also offers medical services, TCM treatments, training and cultural experiences.
