EconomyUkrainian grain exports fall 70% since beginning of August — minister
Ukraine’s Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Taras Vysotsky says the suspension of the Black Sea corridor since late July has cut grain exports by 70%. Ukraine exported 590,000 tons from August 1 to 12, about 30% of demand. Rail and Danube ports could provide a partial boost, but without Black Sea port operations exports would cover no more than half of demand.
