TechTwo-seat Su-57 fighter can serve as UAV command post — UAC
A second cockpit in the two-seat version of Russia’s fifth-generation Su-57 enables it to act as an airborne command post for unmanned aircraft, Sukhoi Design Bureau director Mikhail Strelets said. The extra operator could control AI-enabled systems such as Okhotnik and swarm platforms while the other pilot carries out the main combat mission. The aircraft is also intended to test combat AI under development.
