Nenets Autonomous Region Governor Irina Gekht said the region will build a personnel-training system for oil production, including a specialized class opened with Lukoil. She described oil and gas as the region’s main economic sector and said educating local specialists could help retain young people while supporting infrastructure and Northern Sea Route development.
