SocietyBuilders unearth €9m gold hoard sealed in Belgian cellar walls

Builders renovating a property in east Flanders found gold bars and coins reportedly worth about €9m inside cellar walls while installing sewage pipes. Police moved the hoard to a secure location and launched an investigation. The rightful owner has five years to claim it; otherwise, it may be divided between the finder and the property owner if no criminal link is found.
