Ning Boyu, a principal engineer and former member of Huawei’s “Top Minds” program, has left the company to undertake postdoctoral research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology on a Marie Curie fellowship. He said his three years at Huawei deepened his skills and showed him a stronger interest in academia, and he plans to return to China afterward.
