HealthUN: Water shortages in occupied Palestinian territory threaten health
UN humanitarian officials say most people in the occupied Palestinian territory lack adequate water, sanitation and hygiene. More than 1.3 million people receive under 6 liters of water per person daily, while another 700,000 receive under 9 liters for domestic use. In Gaza, only half of households have basic sanitation and over 900,000 people report exposure to accumulated residential garbage.
