WorldUN: Continuing Sudan violence threatens civilians

UN humanitarian officials warn that violence across Sudan is still killing civilians and driving thousands from their homes. Clashes in Geisan, Blue Nile state, killed more than 20 civilians and displaced about 2,500 people, while drone strikes hit El Obeid in North Kordofan. Around 15,000 families have reached the city in three weeks. The UN urged protection for civilians and safe humanitarian access.
