Matic has launched Matic Cues, adding voice and gesture controls to its robot vacuum. Users can wake it, point at a mess, and ask it to clean that spot, while the robot can also understand chained natural-language commands. Gesture recognition runs on the device using its cameras, but voice commands after the wake word are sent anonymously to the cloud. The price will rise from $1,245 to $1,495 on September 9.
