HealthDRC’s fast-growing Ebola outbreak spreads to sixth province
The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has reached a sixth province after a man died in previously unaffected Bas-Uele following travel from Haut-Uele. The WHO says the outbreak could surpass West Africa’s 2014–16 epidemic as the deadliest on record. More than 2,100 people have died among over 4,500 cases.
