TechUS seeks to develop next-generation hypersonic cruise missile

DARPA plans to launch a program for an air-breathing hypersonic cruise missile designed to be difficult for existing air-defense and missile-defense systems to intercept and affordable enough for mass production. The agency has asked potential developers for proposals and plans to assess designs with ranges of 250 to 2,000 nautical miles.
