TechChina accelerates AI build-out with clusters and high-capacity fiber

China has activated its first AI supercluster using 100,000 domestically produced chips and brought a 10,000-card cluster online in the Greater Bay Area for large-model training. Researchers in Shenzhen are developing four-channel optical fiber, while a national platform now monitors and schedules more than 60% of the country’s computing power.
