Former Broome bishop Christopher Alan Saunders was convicted of 13 sex offences involving two young Aboriginal men after a jury trial in Western Australia. He was acquitted of six other charges. Prosecutors said he used alcohol-fuelled parties to gain access to victims; Saunders denied the assaults.
