While observing Pacific Fleet exercises, Vladimir Putin held a meeting on security along Russia’s eastern borders. He said the main tasks of the special military operation are being addressed, but stressed the need to secure the Russian state along all borders and across its territories. The exercises began on August 4 and involve nearly 60 vessels and more than 13,000 servicemen.
