EconomyOPEC cuts 2026 oil demand growth forecast

OPEC now expects global oil demand to rise by 600,000 barrels per day year-on-year in 2026, down from its July estimate of 800,000 bpd. Its forecast for 2027 was raised to about 2.2 million bpd from 1.9 million bpd.
