Victoria’s corruption watchdog has charged two police officers over the alleged use of force against an Indigenous man during an arrest in Melbourne’s east last August. A senior constable allegedly struck his head repeatedly with a Taser, while a sergeant allegedly hit him with a knee. They are due in Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 11 September.
