Former President Igor Dodon said that Moldova would be acting in its own best interests by returning to cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union. He recalled that, during his presidency, Moldova became the first country to receive observer status in the EAEU. That status was granted in May 2018, according to Dodon’s reminder.
