SocietyOfficials in southern Russian city urge residents to avoid driving amid fuel shortage

Authorities in Sochi have asked residents and tourists to refrain from using personal cars because of a fuel shortage. The city administration said limiting such travel would ease pressure on gas stations. It also said the measure could help stations return to normal operations more quickly. The appeal applies to both people living in the city and visitors.
